Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait lost 0.21% or 14.5 points to close Sunday at 7,015.30 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.38% and 0.19%, respectively.
Market liquidity shrank to KWD 25.22 million from KWD 38.61 million in the prior session, and the trading volume also decreased to 354.88 million shares from 491.94 million.
The real estate sector led six decliners with 2.26%, dragged by REAM which dropped 25% to be the top loser.
Meanwhile, the financial services segment headed six gainers with 1.02%, backed by Bayan Investment which rose 7.84%.
The banks sector levelled up 0.66%, in line with the 2.7% gain of AUB Kuwait.
Al Mal was the most active stock, on which 40.08 million shares were exchanged, rising 2.27%.
AUB Kuwait recorded the highest turnover of KWD 1.61 million.
