Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait edged down 0.03% or 1.75 points to close Thursday’s trading session at 6,825.7 points.
Similarly, the Kuwait-15 index went up 0.03%, while the weighted index retreated by 0.1%.
The main index has a support level at 6,822 points; if this point is exceeded, the price index will fall to 6,804 points and 6,785 points, respectively, technical capital market analyst Nawaf Al-Oun said.
The index’s key resistance level lies at 6,845 points which will lead to 6,885 and 6,895 points, respectively, the analyst added.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity shrank to KWD 6.92 million on Thursday from KWD 9.24 million in the previous session, after trading volume decreased to 51.11 million shares from 70.21 million.
The consumer services segment topped six gainers with 1.44% in line with the 6% rise of Jazeera Airways.
Meanwhile, the industrial sector led five decliners with 0.56%, dragged by National Industries which lost 10.8% to be the top loser.
IPG was the top winner with a gain of 20%.
PetroGulf was the most active stock on which 6.17 million shares were traded, falling 1%.
