Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait closed Tuesday’s session 0.13% or 8.95 points lower at 6,842.67 points.
Meanwhile, the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.11% and 0.14%, respectively.
The oil and gas segment topped four decliners with 0.82%, dragged by Burgan Drilling which lost 16.67%.
Meanwhile, the insurance sector topped gainers with 0.83%, backed by First Takaful which rose by 5.37%.
The market’s liquidity shrank to KWD 8.08 million on Tuesday compared to KWD 12.28 million after 61.04 million shares were traded compared to 63.4 million.
Al Salam was the most active stock on which 11.3 million shares were exchanged, rising 8.6%.
KFH recorded the highest turnover of KWD 1.3 million, falling 0.56%.
