Mubasher: The price index edged down by 0.21% or 14.25 points to close at 6,651.65 points on Wednesday.
The weighted index gained 0.01%, while Kuwait-15 lost 0.19%.
The telecom sector led nine decliners with a fall of 1.9%, dragged by Hits Telecom, Zain, and Viva with a fall of 5.15%, 2.06%, and 1.2%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the healthcare segment gained 3.82%.
Trading value decreased to KWD 28.36 million, while trading volume grew to 283.26 million shares.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 34.73 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 6.72 million.
