Mubasher: The price index started Wednesday’s trading session higher with 0.18% to reach 6,844.37 points by 9:40am Kuwait time.
Meanwhile, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices lost 0.09% and 0.32% respectively.
Turnover amounted to KWD 18.1 million after 212.6 million shares were exchanged through about 3,030 transactions.
The banks segment topped eight gainers with 0.15% on the back of AUB and Ithmaar which rose by 1.39% and 1.15% respectively.
Meanwhile, the technology sector led four decliners with 2.41%, dragged by Osos which lost 4%.
Abyaar was the most active stock on which 43.03 million shares were traded. The stock levelled by 1.25%.
Zain recorded the highest liquidity that reached KWD 2.3 million. The stock rose by 3.03%.
