Mubasher: The benchmark price index of Boursa Kuwait added 0.55% or 35.5 points to reach 6,449.24 points during Sunday’s mid-session.
By 10:45am Kuwait time, the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.02% and 0.13%, respectively.
The industrial segment topped gainers with nearly 2%, backed by Nafais which rose by 9.1% to be the top winner.
Real estate companies edged up 0.13%, backed by Remal which gained 3.85%.
Meanwhile, the insurance sector led decliners with 0.57%.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity amounted to KWD 6 million after 26.3 million shares were traded through 1,105 transactions.
Zain posted the highest turnover of KWD 1.58 million, rising 0.23%.
National Industries, which added 2.56%, was the most active stock on which 5.06 million shares were exchanged.
