Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait saw a mixed performance during the week which ended on 16 March. The price index gained 1.48% or 99.55 points to close at 6,810.70 points from 6,711.16 points in the previous week.
The weighted index lost 0.11% or 0.48 points, and Kuwait-15 fell by 0.99% or 9.58 points.
During this week, liquidity increased by 24.42% to total KWD 166.96 million from KWD 134.19 million a week ago.
Trading volume grew by 40.84% to reach 1.95 billion shares from 1.39 billion traded in the past week.
Transactions totalled about 37,970 which came 18.91% higher than around 31,940 in the previous week.
Market cap edged down 0.17% or KWD 500 million ($1.63 billion) to reach KWD 28.97 billion ($94.62 billion) this week from KWD 29.02 billion ($94.78 billion) in the past week.
