Mubasher: The benchmark price index of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session 0.12% or 7.8 points lower at 6,621.41 points.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.32% and 0.58%, respectively.
By 9:36am Kuwait time, insurance companies led seven decliners with 1.4%.
Meanwhile, the healthcare segment topped five gainers with 5.15%.
Warba Insurance led losers with 18.34%, while Yiaco Medical topped winners with 20%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 5.9 million after 34.9 million shares were exchanged through 1,182 transactions.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) posted the highest liquidity of KWD 2.66 million.
Ithmaar was the most active stock on which 9.34 million shares were exchanged.
