Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session 0.06% or 4 points higher at 6,815.97 points.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.04% and 0.1%, respectively, by 10:15 am Kuwait time.
The market’s trading value amounted to KWD 2.15 million after 14.1 million shares were exchanged through 668 transactions.
The insurance segment topped gainers with 1.39%, backed by Kuwait Insurance and Warba Insurance which rose by 8.7% and 6.06%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the consumer services sector led decliners with 1.34%, dragged by Eyas which fell by 5.21% to be the top loser.
Zain recorded the highest liquidity of about KWD 383,440.
Al Salam was the most active stock on which 3.64 million shares were exchanged, rising 0.9%.
