Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait on Monday retreated 0.13% or 9.40 points to reach 6,745.14 points by 11:20 am Kuwait time.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices lost 0.22% and 0.11%, respectively.
The financial services segment led decliners with 0.49%, dragged by KAMCO which dropped 15.66% to be the top loser and registering its lowest level since its listing.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas sector topped gainers with 1.17%, on the back of Maritime which rose 12.16%.
The market’s liquidity amounted to KWD 1.2 million, with 3.7 million shares exchanged through 279 transactions.
NBK was the most active stock on which about 562,470 shares were traded at a value of approximately KWD 373,960.
