Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session with a mixed performance, as the price index edged down 0.02% or 1.16 points to reach 6,803.40 points.
By 9:15am Kuwait time, liquidity stood at KWD 3.6 million after 25.1 million shares were traded through 769 transactions.
The insurance sector topped four gainers with a rise of 0.68% on the back of Wethaq which went up 3.85%.
Meanwhile, the banks segment led seven decliners with a fall of 0.08%, dragged by Warba and CBK which lost 1.82% and 1.16%, respectively.
Abyar was the most active stock on which 3.3 million shares were traded, reaching 32.5 fils.
Al Imtiaz recorded the highest trading value of KWD 517,000.
