Kuwait – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Boursa Kuwait decreased 0.22% or 14.7 points to reach 6,780.52 points in Monday’s early trades.
The weighted index edged down 0.1%, whereas the Kuwait-15 index inched up 0.14%.
By 9:37 am Kuwait time, trading volume reached 11.56 million shares through 525 transactions, generating KWD 2.4 million.
The banks sector shed 0.27% as Kuwait Finance House (KFH) lost 1.5%.
On the other hand, the consumer goods sector rose 3.4% after Kuwait Food – Americana surged 10.53%.
Ahli United Bank’s – Kuwait (AUB) stock, up 0.93%, led in terms of traded volume after 2.15 million shares were exchanged, while KFH’s stock was the most active in terms of trading value with a turnover of KWD 1.03 million.
