Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Sunday’s trading session higher on the back of three leading sectors.
The price index gained 0.10% or 5.79 points to reach 6,769.54 points by 9:50 am Kuwait time, the weighted index went up 0.07%, and the Kuwait-15 index rose 0.31%.
The oil segment topped gainers with 10.81%, endorsed by Napesco which rose 19.56% to be the top winner.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector led six decliners with 3.14%, dragged by Hits Telecom which fell 14.89% to be the top loser.
The market’s turnover amounted to KWD 1.56 million, after 9.94 million shares were traded through 548 transactions.
Hits Telecom was the most active stock on which 3.3 million shares were traded.
Zain recorded the highest liquidity of about KWD 357,500.
