Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Sunday’s trading session in the red zone.
The price index edged down 0.02% or 1.32 points to reach 6,782.15 points, the weighted index retreated 0.09%, and the Kuwait-15 index went down 0.21%.
By 11:05 am Kuwait time, the industrial segment lost 0.51%, dragged by Acico which lost 5.8% to be the top loser.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas sector topped gainers with 1.13%, backed by Maritime which rose 17.33%.
The market’s turnover amounted to about KWD 859,400 after 4.7 million shares were exchanged through 220 transactions.
Gulf Franchising was the most active stock on which 1.96 million shares were traded.
Zain recorded the highest liquidity of about KWD 234,500.
