Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Sunday’s trading session with a mixed performance; the All-Share index edged up 0.02%.
By 9:35am Kuwait time, the Main market index gained 0.76%, while the Premier Market index retreated 0.42%.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading value amounted to about KWD 501,600 after 3.43 million shares were exchanged through 202 transactions.
The weighted index of the technology segment topped gainers with 8.02%, backed by Automated Systems which rose by 8.97%.
Meanwhile, the weighted index of the basic materials sector led the decliners with 1.02% in line with the 2.21% decline of Boubyan Petrochemical.
Ekttitab and Tahssilat were the top winners with a growth of 10% each, while Kuwait Real Estate led the losers with 3.4%.
In the Premier Market, Mabanee was the top winner with a gain of 3.5%, while AUB Bahrain headed the losers with a fall of 4.5%.
