Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Sunday’s trading session with a mixed performance, as the price index went up 0.67% or 44.72 points to reach 6,724.75 points.
By 9:35 am Kuwait time, the weighted index gained 0.12%, while the Kuwait -15 index retreated 0.02%.
The oil and gas segment topped gainers with 4.96%, backed by Napesco which rose 7.99%.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector fell 0.39%, dragged by Viva and Zain which lost 0.24%, respectively.
The market’s liquidity amounted to KWD 1.7 million after 12.8 million shares were exchanged through 438 transactions.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which nearly 5 million shares were traded at a value of about KWD 803,200.
