Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait started Sunday’s trading session 0.19% or 12.8 points higher at 6,838.49 points.
The weighted index reached 412.71 points, while the Kuwait-15 index retreated 0.04%.
By 9:33 am Kuwait time, the market’s turnover amounted to about KWD 618,300 after 7.5 million shares were traded through 256 transactions.
The industrial segment topped gainers with 0.8%, backed by UPAC which rose by 10.3% to be the top winner.
Meanwhile, the banks sector led decliners with 0.21%, dragged by Al Ithmar which lost 1.1%.
Gulf Franchising was the most active stock on which 1.4 million shares were traded, reaching 75 fils.
Osos recorded the highest liquidity with a value of KWD 104,000.
