Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait started Thursday’s trading session 0.04% or 2.76 points lower at 6,776.68 points.
By 11:15 am Kuwait time, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.13% and 0.03%, respectively.
The oil and gas segment led eight decliners with 2.21%, dragged by Napesco which lost 3.87%.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods sector topped gainers with 1.5%, on the back of Eyas which rose 3.57%.
The market’s trading value amounted to KWD 2 million after 7.9 million shares were traded through 412 transactions.
Al Madina was the most active stock on which 2.5 million shares were exchanged, falling 0.99%.
