Kuwait – Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait indices levelled down collectively in Thursday’s early trades after the benchmark price index decreased 0.41% or 31 points to reach 6,595.2 points, while the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices went down 0.1%, and 0.31%, respectively.
By 9:55 am Kuwait time, the industrials sector declined 1.13% as National Cleaning Company’s stock dropped 4.9%, while the financial services sector shed 0.4% after Ekttitab Holding’s stock retreated 5.3%.
The real estate and telecommunications sectors fell 0.33%, whereas the banks sector rose 0.22% as Ahli United Bank’s (AUB) stock increased 1.5%.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading volume reached 21.4 million shares, through 750 transactions, with a liquidity of KWD 3.5 million.
Mobile Telecommunications’ (Zain) stock led in terms of trading value with a turnover of KWD 840,000, despite dropping 0.39%, while AUB’s stock topped in terms of traded volume after 3.07 million shares were exchanged.
