Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait started Thursday’s session 0.31% or 21.31 points lower at 6,798.39 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.05% and 0.24%, respectively.
The market’s turnover amounted to KWD 1.55 million by 10:10 am Kuwait time, after 5.67 million shares were exchanged through 234 transactions.
The services segment led decliners with 6.46%, dragged by Eyas which lost 15.69% to be the top loser.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas sectors topped six gainers with 1.31%, backed by Maritime which jumped 19.74% to be the top winner.
Zain was the most active stock on which about 978,700 shares were exchanged, up 0.24%.
