Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Thursday’s trading session with a mixed performance; the price index edged up 0.06% or 4.11 points to reach 6,92.11 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.09% and 0.16%, respectively.
By 9:50am Kuwait time, the banks segment topped seven gainers with 0.21%, backed by KFH which rose by 0.67% to reach 601 fils, which is the highest level in 34 months.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods sector led three decliners with 2.37%, dragged by Livestock which lost 9.46%.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity stood at KWD 4.95 million, as the trading volume reached 21.15 million shares through 771 transactions.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 5.4 million shares were traded, rising 1.69%.
KFH recorded the highest turnover of KWD 1.4 million.
