Mubasher: The benchmark price index of Boursa Kuwait edged down 0.06% or 4.08 points to 6,521.15 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices rose by 0.02% and 0.16%, respectively.
By 9:37am Kuwait time, insurance companies topped gainers with 0.39%, backed by Warba Insurance which added 5.83%.
The financial services sector went up 0.28% in line with the 12.86% increase of Amwal which topped winners.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods segment led decliners with 2.2%, dragged by Livestock which lost 6.2%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 1.6 million after 14.6 million shares were traded through 605 transactions.
Ithmaar was the most active stock on which 4.44 million shares were traded.
