Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s trading session in the green; the price index added 0.19% or 12.6 points to 6,511.08 points.
By 9:35am Kuwait time, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.14% and 0.28%, respectively.
Insurance companies topped gainers with 1.13%, backed by Wethaq which rose by 6.4%.
The industrial segment went up 0.55% in line with the 3.9% growth of Alafco.
Meanwhile, the consumer services sector led decliners with 0.3%, dragged by Soor Fuel and First Fuel which lost 2.6% each.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 1.18 million after 7 million shares were traded through 395 transactions.
Agility posted the highest liquidity of about KWD 162,000.
Investors was the most active stock on which 1.52 million shares were traded.
