Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s session in the red zone; the price index edged down 0.04% or 1.73 points to reach 7,005.44 points, the weighted index lost 0.35%, and the Kuwait-15 index retreated by 0.57%.
By 10am Kuwait time, the market’s turnover stood at KWD 7.7 million, after 105.3 million shares were exchanged through nearly 2,200 transactions.
The consumer goods segment led four decliners with 0.54%, dragged by Mezzan which lost 1.96%.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector topped six gainers with a rise of 0.18%, on the back of Marakez which levelled up 5.88%.
Al-Aqariya was the most active stock on which 11.9 million shares were traded, rising 2.08%.
NBK recorded the highest trading value of KWD 1.3 million.
