Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s trading session 0.21% or 13.53 points lower at 6,823.83 points.
Meanwhile, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.24% and 0.44%, respectively.
By 9:35 am Kuwait time, the oil and gas segment led decliners with 3.04%, dragged by Burgan Drilling which lost 13.64%.
The banks sector topped five gainers with 0.17%, backed by Ithmaar which levelled up 0.98%.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading value stood at KWD 4 million after 21.9 million shares were exchanged through 739 transactions.
Abyaar was the most active stock on which 6 million shares were traded, rising 4.44%.
NBK recorded the highest turnover of KWD 1.6 million, gaining 0.85%.
