Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s trading session 0.38% or 25.8 points lower at 6,833.44 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.33% and 0.48%, respectively.
By 10:07am Kuwait time, the market’s turnover amounted to KWD 11.1 million after 44.2 million shares were exchanged through 1,546 transactions.
The banks segment topped gainers with 0.6%, backed by KFH and NBK which rose by 1.06% and 0.54%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods sector led decliners with 1.55%, dragged by Livestock which lost 5%.
Kuwait Cable Vision was the top winner with a rise of 9.15%, while Sanam led losers with a drop of 11.6%.
KFH was the most active stock on which 6.26 million shares were traded at a value of KWD 3.59 million.
