Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s trading session with a mixed performance; the benchmark price index added 0.12% or 8 points to 6,813.9 points.
By 9:23am Kuwait time, the Kuwait-15 index edged up 0.01%, while the weighted index retreated 0.05%.
The industrial segment topped gainers with 1.11%, backed by HEISCO which rose by 6.9% following the disclosure of its income statements for fiscal year 2017.
Meanwhile, technology companies led decliners with 6.8%, dragged by Automated Systems which lost 20% to be the top loser.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 1.5 million after 9 million shares were exchanged through 455 transactions.
KGL was the most active stock on which 1.48 million shares were traded. The stock rose by 3.81%.
Agility posted the highest liquidity of about KWD 234,620. The stock lost 0.12%.
