Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s trading session with a mixed performance.
By 9:22am Kuwait time, the All-Share Market index gained 0.29%, the Premier Market index added 0.5%, while the Main Market index lost 0.06%.
Telecom companies topped the gainers with 0.64% in line with the 0.94% rise of Zain.
Meanwhile, the basic materials segment led the decliners with 0.63%, followed by the oil and gas sector which was led by the 7.06% decline of Senergy which headed the losers.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 1.5 million after 7.5 million shares were exchanged through 340 transactions.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest trading value of around KWD 748,300.
Abyaar Real Estate was the most active stock on which 2.62 million shares were traded through 49 deals at a total value of KWD 53,000. The stock rose by 5.26%.
