Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s trading session with a mixed performance; the All-Share Market index edged down 0.03%, the Main Market index went down 0.14%.
By 9:25am Kuwait time, the Premier Market index added 0.04% or 1.7 points to 4,781.71 points.
Insurance companies led the decliners with 1.44%, while the technology segment topped the gainers with 2.85%.
Jiyad was the top winner with a gain of 11.13%, while Kuwait Insurance led the losers with a drop of 9.8%.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading value amounted to KWD 1.2 million after 13.4 million shares were exchanged through 421 transactions.
Jiyad was the most active stock on which 2.77 million shares were traded at a total value of KWD 244,000.
