Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session in the red zone; the price index lost 0.57% or 35.6 points to reach 6,196.35 points.
By 9:55am Kuwait time, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.04% and 0.1%, respectively.
The industrial segment led four decliners with 0.34%, dragged by Shuaiba Industrial which lost 18.67% to be the top loser.
The banks sector also retreated 0.24% in line with the 3% decline of Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK).
Meanwhile, the insurance segment headed five gainers with 2%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 4.22 million after 17.06 million shares were exchanged through 830 transactions.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) registered the highest liquidity of KWD 1.08 million, rising 0.42%.
KGL Logistics was the most active stock on which 1.76 million shares were traded, up 3.4%.
