Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session in decline; the price index went down 0.23% or 15.4 points to 6,648.65 points.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.35% and 0.49%, respectively.
By 9:40am Kuwait time, the financial services segment led decliners with 0.67%, dragged by Amwal which lost 6.7%.
The banking sector dropped 0.52% in line with the 2.54% of Ithmaar.
Meanwhile, oil and gas companies topped gainers with 0.69%, backed by IPG which added 7.5%.
Kuwait Cable Vision led losers with 19.5%, while Marakez topped winners with 10.9%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 3.3 million after 23.3 million shares were traded through 865 transactions.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) posted the highest liquidity of nearly KWD 674,900.
Ithmaar was the most active stock on which 4.2 million shares were exchanged.
