Kuwait – Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait’s indices commenced Wednesday’s trading session on a mixed note with the price index adding 0.28% or 20.97 points to 7,036.52 points.
In the meantime, the weighted index gaining 0.15% while the Kuwait-15 index slipped 0.01%.
By 09:55am Kuwait time, seven sectors were up led by industrials with 0.81%, backed by Equipment Holding which surged 8.62%.
The banking sector increased 0.58% on the back of seven stocks, led by Ahli United Bank – Kuwait (AUB) with 2.25%.
On the other hand, two sectors retreated, led by telecommunications with 0.55%, pressured by Viva and Zain which lost 1.11% and 1.09%, respectively.
The consumer services sector edged down 0.01% after Soor Fuel Marketing and Alrai Media Group dropped 3.12% and 1.14%, respectively.
Turnover reached KWD 14.25 million after 115.04 million shares were traded through 2,200 transactions.
Zain was the most active stock on Boursa Kuwait in early trades after 10.8 million shares were exchanged at a turnover of KWD 4.89 million.
