Mubasher: The main index of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s session 0.07% or 5.15 points higher, reaching 7,034.93 points.
Meanwhile, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.18% and 0.30%, respectively.
By 10:10am Kuwait time, the market’s liquidity stood at KWD 10.04 million, after 108.6 million shares were traded through about 2,060 transactions.
The real estate segment topped six gainers with 0.34%, on the back of Marakez which rose by 5.56%.
Meanwhile, the banks sector led four losers with 0.47%, dragged by KIB which lost 1.89%.
Energy House was the top winner with 6.25%, while National Slaughter House led losers with a drop of 10.5%.
Taameer was the most active stock on which 23.3 million shares were traded, up 2.11%.
Zain recorded the highest trading value of KWD 1.95 million, rising 3.23%.
