Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session 0.05% or 3.31 points lower at 6,773.41 points.
Meanwhile, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled up 0.04% and 0.06%, respectively.
By 11:00 am Kuwait time, the market’s turnover stood at about KWD 956,200 after 6.8 million shares were traded through 328 transactions.
Al Salam was the most active stock on which 1.4 million shares were traded, falling 1.3%.
Alafco recorded the highest liquidity of nearly KWD 150,200.
The oil and gas segment led five decliners with 0.80%, dragged by Maritime which lost 5.56%.
Meanwhile, the financial services sector topped four gainers with 0.32%, on the back of Al Madina which jumped 20% to be the top winner.
