Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s session with a mixed performance.
By 9:27am Kuwait time, the price index retreated 0.28% or 17.7 points to 6,351.77 points, the weighted index edged down 0.07%, while the Kuwait-15 index added 0.03%.
Financial services segment led decliners with 0.93%, dragged by Tamdeen Investment with a fall of 19.7% to be the top loser.
Meanwhile, the consumer services sector topped gainers with 0.14%, backed by Jiyad Holding which rose by 1.6%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 409,000 after 5.3 million shares were traded through 290 transactions.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest liquidity of about KWD 70,440.
PetroGuld was the most active stock on which 1.41 million shares were traded.
