Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session with a mixed performance.
By 9:23 am Kuwait time, the All-Share Market index gained 0.14%, the Premier Market index added 0.28%, while the Main Market index lost 0.09%.
Telecom companies topped the gainers with 0.95% in line with the 1.9% rise of Zain.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas sector was the market’s only decliner inching down 0.07% as PetroGuf went down 1.11%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 1.72 million after 6.9 million shares were exchanged through 345 transactions.
Zain’s stock led the bourse in terms of trading volume with 1.64 million shares, generating KWD 709,400 in a turnover.
