Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait saw a positive performance in Wednesday’s early trades, backed by the rise of banks and financial services sectors.
The price index added 0.10% or 6.91 points to reach 6,837.55 points by 9:55 am Kuwait time, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices increased 0.28% and 0.20%, respectively.
The banks sector topped gainers with a 0.85% rise as Commercial Bank of Kuwait (CBK) added 6.76%.
The financial services sector grew 0.8% after Manazel Holding advanced 7.41%.
On the flipside, the industrial sector led losers with a 0.86% decline as Shuaiba Industrial was the worst performer with a 10% decrease.
The market saw a turnover of KWD 10.1 million after trading 121.78 million shares through 1,500 transactions.
