Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait reached the green zone by 11am Kuwait time on Wednesday.
The price index edged up 0.2% or 13 points to reach 6,526.74 points, the weighted index gained 0.08%, and the Kuwait-15 index went up 0.26%.
The real estate segment topped gainers with 0.57%, backed by National Real Estate which rose by 4.13%.
Meanwhile, the banks sector led decliners with 0.12%, dragged by Ahl Bank of Kuwait (ABK) which retreated 2.2%.
Afaq Educational Services was the top winner with a rise of 12.04%, while Tahssilat led losers with 20%.
Boursa Kuwait recorded a turnover of KWD 8.2 million after 41.41 million shares were traded through 1,730 transactions.
Zain recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 2.37 million, rising 1.93%.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 9.4 million shares were traded, up 1.81%.
