Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait slipped 0.02% or 1.54 points to reach 6,930.47 points in Wednesday’s early trades, whereas the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices edged up 0.12%, and 0.18%, respectively.
By 9:15 am Kuwait time, the basic materials sector went up 1.06%, whereas the real estate sector shed 0.13%.
Equipment Holding’s stock led Boursa Kuwait's risers with 3.75%, whereas Arkan Al Kuwait Real Estate’s stock was the worst performer with a drop of 3.9%.
Trading volume reached 6.8 million shares, through 272 tranactions, generating KWD 1.34 million.
Al Imtiaz Investment Group’s stock led in terms of traded volume with 2.71 million shares, with a turnover of KWD 463,000, settling at 171 fils.
