Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session with grouped rise by 9:54am Kuwait time.
The price index gained 0.55% or 31.8 points to reach 5,928.28 points; both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled up by 0.34% each.
Liquidity reached KWD 17 million after 236.5 million shares were exchanged through 3,155 transactions.
The real estate segment topped eight gainers with 1.06%, on the back of Abyaar which rose by 8.5% to be the top winner.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector led three decliners with 0.53%, dragged by Viva which retreated by 1.11%.
Abyaar was the most active stock on which 36.1 million shares were traded.
Al Imtiaz recorded the highest trading value that stood at KWD 2.1 million. The stock rose by 3.4%.
