Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session with mixed performance; the price index gained 0.27% or 18.63 points to reach 6,837.67 points, the weighted index edged up 0.06%, while Kuwait-15 index lost 0.33%.
By 9:50am Kuwait time, the oil and gas segment topped gainers with 3.43%, on the back of Napesco which rose by 7.04%.
Meanwhile, the financial services sector led decliners with 0.25%, dragged by KMEFIC which lost 6.45% to be the top loser.
The market’s turnover amounted to KWD 6.9 million, after 49.4 million shares were exchanged through around 1,200 transactions.
Ithmaar was the most active stock on which 10.5 million shares were traded, rising 1.03%.
KFH recorded the highest trading value of KWD 2.3 million, falling 1.01%.
