Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Thursday’s trading session in the green; the benchmark price index inched up 5.1 points, or 0.08%, to 6,753.42 points, while the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices edged up 0.03% and 0.02%, respectively.
By 9:20 am Kuwait time, the real estate sector rose 0.4% as Aayan Real Estate’s stock jumped 13.34%.
On the other hand, consumer services shed 0.5% after Jazeera Airways fell 2.1%, while Jiyad Holding Co decreased 1.7%.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading volume reached 1.72 million shares changed hands through 176 transactions, with a liquidity of KWD 271,000.
Kuwait Foundry’s stock, which advanced 4.6%, was the most actively-traded after 477,600 shares were exchanged, with a turnover of KWD 119,110.
