Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s session with a mixed performance; the price index gained 0.23% or 15.94 points to reach 6,884.77 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.30% and 0.35%, respectively.
The insurance segment topped gainers with 0.70%, on the back of First Takaful which rose 6.67%.
Meanwhile, the telecom segment led decliners with 1.03%, dragged by Viva which lost 2.38%.
By 9:40am Kuwait time, turnover amounted to KWD 11.6 million, after 130.72 million shares were traded through about 2,400 transactions.
Kuwait Real Estate was the most active stock on which 24.3 million shares were traded at a value of KWD 1.85 million.
Kuwait Resorts was the top winner with a gain of 6.76%, while UPAC led losers with 5.95%.
