Kuwait – Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session with grouped rise by 9:25am Kuwait time.
The price index rose by 0.4% or 24.19 points to reach 6,038.55 points; both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.42% and 0.44% respectively.
Liquidity amounted to KWD 7.29 million, after 107.09 million shares were traded through 1,690 transactions.
The real estate segment was the top gainer with 0.9%, on the back of Taameer which rose by 7.5%.
The telecom sector also rose by 0.8% in line with the 4.2% rise of Hits.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods segment retreated by 0.18%, dragged by Oula Fuel which lost 3.2%.
