Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait edged down 0.14% or 9.8 points to reach 6,820.12 points by 10:00 am Kuwait time on Wednesday.
The weighted index retreated by 0.04% or 0.18 points to reach 418.26 points; similarly, the Kuwait-15 index lost 0.02% or 0.17 points to 960.36 points.
The consumer services segment led decliners with a fall of 0.9%, dragged by Muntazahat which lost 7.48%.
Meanwhile, the financial services sector topped gainers with 0.25%, backed by National International Holding which rose by 7.5%.
Bourse Kuwait’s turnover stood at KWD 2.7 million after about 16.4 million shares were traded through 600 transactions.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 2.88 million shares were exchanged at a value of nearly KWD 485,400.
