Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session with mixed performance; the price index gained 0.28% or 18.28 points to reach 6,601.33 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices lost 0.25% and 0.33% respectively.
Turnover amounted to KWD 17.08 million by 9:50am Kuwait time, after 194.91 million shares were exchanged through 3,447 transactions.
The oil and gas segment led six decliners with 0.8%, dragged by Ikarus which lost 7.04%.
Meanwhile, the industrial sector topped five gainers with 2.42%.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 21.74 million shares were exchanged at a value of KW 21.74 million the stock gained 3.5%.
