Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait saw a volatile performance in Monday’s early trades.
The price index rose 0.11% or 6.65 points to reach 7,021.21 points by 10:05am Kuwait time, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.43% and 0.51%, respectively.
The financial services sector increased 0.57% as Kuwait Syrian Holding grew 5.6%.
On the other hand, the banks sector fell 0.76% due to five stocks, led by Kuwait International Bank (KIB) which slid 1.96%.
Turnover amounted to KWD 8.91 million after trading 168.9 million shares through 2,500 transactions.
Abyaar Real Estate Development was the most active stock after trading 51.1 million shares worth KWD 1.5 million.
