Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait saw a volatile performance in Tuesday’s mid-session.
The price index added 0.10% or 7.01 points to 6,800.07 points by 10:55 am Kuwait time, and the weighted index gained 0.01%. Meanwhile, the Kuwait-15 index decreased 0.01%.
The oil and gas sector topped gainers with a 1.59% rise as Napesco grew 2.67%.
On the flipside, the consumer services sector led losers with a 0.75% decline as Alrai Media Group and Soor Fuel Marketing (SOOR) retreated 6.4% and 1.59%, respectively.
Turnover amounted to KWD 7.4 million after trading 58.05 million shares through 1,400 transactions.
Aayan Leasing and Investment was the most active stock after trading 13.6 million shares, while National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) was the value leader after generating KWD 855,300.
