Mubasher: EFG Hermes expected that Boursa Kuwait would receive cash inflows valued at $412 million after listing on the FTSE emerging markets index in September 2018.
The stock exchange is projected to receive another $412 million in December, EFG Hermes noted.
FTSE will announce the results of the semi-annual review in September after changes take effect on 21 September, 2018, EFG Hermes added in a statement.
The cash inflows are forecast to be received from the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), Kuwait Finance House (KFH), and Zain Group at a value of $136 million, $100 million, and $61 million, respectively.
After listing on FTSE’s EM index, Boursa Kuwait is expected to receive a cash inflow from Boubyan Petrochemical at a value of $21 million.
