Boursa Kuwait liquidity grows 5.7% in week

Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait posted a negative performance during the week ended on 28 September, falling by 2.5%.

Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 1.9% and 2.37%, respectively.

A total of 529.11 million shares were exchanged during this week, down by 14.3% from the previous week, with the liquidity increasing by 5.7% to KWD 108.97 million from KWD 103.06 million.

The benchmark price index has broken the support level of 6,775 points, and it is expected for it to fall to 6,650 points and 6,550 points, respectively, capital market analyst Hassan Al Kandry told Mubasher.

He noted that if the main index rebounds, the resistance is forecast to be at 6,775 points, from which the price index will rise to 6,885 points and 6,890 points, respectively, while heading to 6,850 points as a first target.

Meanwhile, the weighted index is facing the level 435 points, which became a resistance that may lead to 445 points as the coming target, Al Kandry added.
